My Career

Which career I want to pursue? A teacher, a veterinarian, accountant, police officer or doctor? Choosing a job is not that easy, but if we have a dream, it will be much easier. It is because if we have a dream to pursue, we will have a direction to work towards and an aim to achieve.

As for me, I would like to be an Events Manager in a hotel as partially from my own interest in organizing parties and birthdays.Partially a bit of influence from David Tutera, who is a tv host who is very professional with designing parties and events.
In order to qualify for this job, I will have to be well presented with excellent communication skills, high levels of self-motivation,a minimum Diploma qualification and be goal-driven, self-motivated with good negotiation skills and minimum two years of relevant catering skills experience, strong organizational and coordination skills. An Events Manager has to plans and execute events, think of strategy of how the events is going to work, preparing logistics needed, budget the cost and meet the satisfaction of the customer.

I want to become an Events Manager as I always organise parties and birthdays and i always make it a big success. Thus, I want to organise something more bigger than a parties and more resources to make the events a success. The starting of interest of becoming an Events Manager in me starts when I watch a television reality show called Party Planner with David Tutera.David Tutera uses his ability to design and organise stuff to persue his dreams as a party planner. He has artistic talent and apply it on parties, events and weddings.Therefore,I want to be an Events Manager.
